FIND YOUR GRIND

Beans
For maximum control over grind size and brewing. Best for those who grind at home for peak freshness.

Plunger
Coarse like sea salt, perfect for French Press. Large particles prevent grit, delivering a bold, full-bodied brew.

Filter
Brown sugar-like grind, great for drip, pour-over (Chemex, V60), AeroPress, and Moka Pot. A versatile all-rounder.

Our Story
Shipping
How should I store my flavoured coffee?
We recommend keeping it inside the bag using the zip lock seal. Alternatively, an airtight container will do the trick.
How long does flavoured coffee stay fresh after opening?
It's best enjoyed within two weeks for peak taste, as the added flavours can fade over time.
Does your flavoured coffee contain sugar?
There is a small amount of sugar in the flavouring used for our flavoured coffee.
What grind size should I use for my TERBODORE coffee?
We offer 4 different grinds (beans, home espresso, filter, French press) perfect for multiple coffee-making methods. For a Moka pot method, we suggest our filter grind and for a French Press, our plunger grind.
What’s the best brewing method for flavoured coffee?
They work perfectly with any method, but we recommend filter or French press for a balanced extraction that highlights both the coffee and the added flavours.
Can I add milk or sweetener to my flavoured coffee?
Absolutely! Our flavoured coffees are made to be enjoyed black or with milk, depending on your preference. A touch of sweetener can also enhance certain flavour notes, like vanilla or caramel.
What roast profile works best for flavoured coffee?
We typically use a medium roast for our flavoured coffees. This allows the natural coffee notes to shine while complementing the added flavours.
How did we get started?
It all began back in 2001 when Marian (TERBODORE Founder) and her family made the move from the Western Cape to the beautiful KwaZulu-Natal Midlands. They took over a small restaurant, and to everyone’s surprise, the coffee quickly became the star of the show. In 2004, the family decided to roast their own beans, investing in a small 5kg roaster, and that’s when TERBODORE officially came to life.
Where does the name TERBODORE come from?
The name combines three family names: TER from Marian’s father, BO from her maiden surname, and DOR from her aunt.
Who is the dog in our logo?
Sultan, our first Great Dane, stole everyone’s heart at our original roastery and became the perfect symbol for TERBODORE with his gentle nature and big personality.
Where can I find TERBODORE coffee?
You can grab a bag from our online store, visit one of our cafés in either Franschhoek or the KZN Midlands, or find us in select retailers and coffee shops across South Africa. This includes Checkers and Pick 'n Pay. Find a comprehensive list of our stockists here.
How much does shipping cost?
We offer a nationwide flat rate shipping fee of R99, with free local shipping on orders over R1 000. International shipping is available and calculated at checkout (see eligible countries below).
